Cristian Santibanez specialises in urban innovation, mobility, and people-data. He has consulted for international clients in need of market research, urban planning and strategy inputs, understanding urban ecosystems, and sales methodology.
He is also Startup Sesame’s Mobility Lead and has spoken at B2B and B2C events including TEDx, the New Cities Summit, Autonomy, Ecomotion. He is currently working on a book on how to innovate in cities.
Born in Prague, Cristian spent his childhood in Chile, grew up in Paris, and lived in Tokyo. With a Master’s degree from Europe’s leading university in social sciences, and after writing a distinguished thesis on urban inequality and regional innovation, he joined the New Cities Foundation’s founding team to work on innovation programs and research. Later on, he co-founded the first edition of France’s first urban mobility festival, Autonomy. He speaks 7 languages and is currently based in Paris.
